Cluster formation in NS2 using TCL

Dear Ns2 Learners,

Thanks for this support ,iam once again back for updates,

After a long time once again going to update the information:

In cluster two types

1) static and dynamic

Static :

Cluster will be formed static suppose all nodes position will be fixed and data exchange between cluster heads,and cluster algorithm is used for that.

Like distance calculation and threshold value will be calculated based on that the cluster will be formed .

Dynamic :

is rally touch one but in ns2 simulation we can try by movement random selection

      we have separate option avaliable in wimax or mobile network where each base station will be communicated at each communication so one header line code is enough to make the bandwidth allocation just mail me will send some bandwidth code Thanks

      Hi vino,

      we need to install patch for that and you can find it in readme file and need to create object file using make file any doubt or problem mail me with screenshot will help you

    Hi sir,
    I have tried those changes mention in the readme file but couldn't do some changes as mention in that file.Things like in Makefile and Makefile.in
    Are those changes mention in the ReadMe is only for NS2.1b5?
    Can't we run it on NS2.35?

      We can run but be careful copy the make file and make the modification , and even linux also factor if didnt create the object file thanks

      Hi Prasanna,

      In fact, I want to simulate a grid topology in which a node only transmits its data to only one neigbour (in grid-to-grid manner, based on the paper "Energy-balanced Deployment and Topology Control for wireless Sensor Networks").
      I configure the adhocRouting = AODV and the ifqLen is infinitely great value. But the simulation seems incorrectly :(. Because there have been alot of dropped packets and the energy consumption is not the same as expected. Can you plz show me how to dare with this problem.

      Extremely sorry for late reply Yes you should change everything in above case i can see changed only queue length so it will not have enough packet to send so its automatically dropped my advice change dimensional settings as well as increase packet size adjust CBR rate it will work Thanks

      The concept of my final project was to compare the value of throughput, end-to-end delay and energy consumption of both the topology (star vs. cluster) with the number of nodes up to 100 nodes.
